There are some necklace of other name; Choker, Matinee necklace, Opera necklace, and Rope necklace. Can you explain the difference between these necklaces? Choker

This is the most general necklace. Its length is about 42cm included metal clasp. To say pearls only, its length is about 40cm, equals to 16 inch.

Matinee necklace

The length of Matinee necklace is about 60cm, or 23 inch. It is a little longer than Choker. But the looks changes very much. It will be more elegant. It sounds good that you wear at casual or formal style.

Opera necklace

It’s the best scene at party! Opera necklace is more beautiful and elegant. The length is twice than choker, it’s about 80cm or 34 inch. You can wear it with shirts, it’s good collaboration!

Rope necklace

It’s very longer necklace, the length is about 120cm or 47 inch. You can wear this necklace with double or triple.

How many types of necklace do you know? In Japan, choker type necklace is the most popular one. But other type also are popular. Especially long necklace is very useful with various fashion. you can wear it with single or double.

Various and attractive colored pearl: Pearl Seiwa

Pearl has some colors. They are natural color and not natural color; it’s colored pearl. In case of akoya pearl, there are various colored pearls; it’s golden color, blue color, gray color, champaign color, pistachio color, and so on. For these colored pearls, it’s not natural color. The pearl craftsman gives color to pearls. This is not bad things. According to giving color to pearls, its pearl will be more beautiful. Akoya pearls which given color to will have beautiful luster.

For south sea pearl, it will be given peacock color or chocolate color. Unlike akoya pearl, south sea pearl will have more deep and elegant color.

Toning akoya pearl and natural-color akoya pearl: Pearl Seiwa

Many people think the color of akoya pearl equals pink. How about you?

Surely it’s not false. In more detail, 90 % of akoya pearl is taken toning color. Pearls are born with various colors like human skin. To coordinate its color of pearl, the toning is provided. I think many woman puts on make-up. The same as this, pearl puts on make-up. It’s toning. Pearl is also puts on make-up a little. As a result, beautiful pearl necklace with sense of unity is completed.

Toning is that it coordinates pearl color to give red color into pearl layer. According to that, there are so many akoya pearls with pink color.  Just now I said that 90 % of akoya pearls is provided toning. Then the rest of 10% akoya pearls is not toning?

That’s right! There is non-toning color pearl, it’s called natural color pearl.

14 Dec, Valentine day is famous for all over the world. Especially it’s the special event for Japanese. The woman gives some chocolates to the man who she has a kindness for. Woman makes some chocolate thinking its man. Some woman makes handmade chocolate, others buy one which is sold at the supermarket.

Recently man gives woman the chocolate at Valentine day, it’s called Gyaku-Choco. On the day the man convey the feeling or propose her. And in same time, man gives her some presents.
